As Sales Representative for alaTest.com in Germany you are responsible for the nationwide sales activities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation, company presentation, solution development, proposal and contract writing and negotiation.
• Manage a new business pipeline and communicate status, priorities, issues and needs internally.

Your profile:

We are looking for a Financial Controller that will be in charge of bookkeeping, invoicing, salary payments and accounts payable. A big part of the job will also be to act as a business controller to help us make alaTest the best review site in the world.

Key activities will involve business controlling, oversee accounting, and do financial reporting and forecasting. The Financial Controller will also act as a business controller and take an active part in our business development efforts in the various markets we are active in.

Through commitment, creativity and knowledge, you will help us define the most efficient financial processes, in-house and with additional external help.

As senior developer, you will join a dynamic and fast-growing organization, and will be part of a newly founded team specializing in partner content delivery. You will work to improve the overall processes of collecting, presenting and distributing review data. You will be working in a creative environment, and will be able to influence both the development process and the end product. As part of your role, you will face interesting challenges in dealing with large data sets and low latency requirements. New development will be done primarily in Python, but you will also work with Java. Regardless of language, you will have the opportunity of working with exciting open source technologies.

The database is the foundation of our service to provide content to our alaTest websites and partners. You will work to improve the overall process of collecting, structuring, and presenting review data. We work with various Open Source solutions, e.g. Apache, MySQL and PHP and our servers run Linux.

You are comfortable with and interested in shared ownership of code, TDD, CI ,agile development, open source technologies, etc. You might already be a hard-core Python programmer, or you might be coming from a Java background and interested in leveraging your experience using new tools.
