Uniquely professional form factor and features for its price; great audio section and motorized zoom; a terrific value.

Consumer-oriented controls make some pro-oriented features frustrating to operate for those accustomed to pro gear; Frame Mode not as good as true progressive imaging; noninterchangeable lens; lacks manually controlled neutral-density filter.

At its price point, an unrivaled value in an entry-level shoulder-mounted DV camera.

I still wake up every morning thrilled that I bought this camera. I am very happy with the purchase and higly recommend the DVC60 to anyone who wants to turn heads shooting and please clients visually in the entry to mid-level videography segment.
