Awesome!!

Great little semi commercial machine for the home. Haven't had a problem and this machine, once you figure out what you're doing, makes better coffee than 80% of the cafes out there. Make sure you team it with a stepless high quality grinder or you're...

CoffeeGeek - Isomac Tea & Tea II - David Bondy's Review

I think that Isomac is a much under-rated brand and that the Tea II (apart from its stupid name!) is a much under-rated machine. Like all HX machines it DOES take a bit of learning and I had a Barista trainer come round to the house to teach me how to...

This is my first machine of this type. Now that I have learned how to use it, it makes as good a cup of espresso as I have ever had. It is beautifully made and extremely stylish. Having two pressure gauges is a luxury as well

Water reservoir is much too small and the "empty" sensor trips much too soon. I replaced the plastic anti-burn clips from the two wands with sleeves. Apart from that, it has needed no modifications at all

CoffeeGeek - Isomac Tea & Tea II - Torben Villadsen's Review

I have tryed for 3 month now,to make a good espresso, and haven't done it yet. The water in machine is yellow when it comes out, taste and smell very bad.

Worth every penny if you require quality and value.

Perhaps a key reason I purchased the machine was because I had used many non-heat exchange machines and lacked the patience to continue to deal with them on a daily basis.

Spectacular value for the money, the Tea produces very consistent results, and is very reliable when cared for properly. Maintenance is straightforward when needed, and modification is similarly straightforward. Steaming power is awesome, and the extra...

Water resevoir is too small for frequent use, easily rusting screws are used in the drain/drip tray, and the default steaming tip is harder to use on small volumes of milk. The gasket is quite difficult to remove when cleaning the E61 head. These can...

Two gauges (boiler and group head), a beautiful and well made machine with consistent results

I have been home roasting for a few years now since it is virtually impossible to drink fresh roasted coffee otherwise but have still been stopping at the local coffee shop for cappuccino (of varying quality) on my drive home multiple nights a week. I...

Nice looking ; Solidly constructed by European craftspersons - Industrial quality materials and components ; Gauges for boiler pressure and group head pressure ; Isomac has been in business since 1977 ; Fast warmup, recovery time

Relatively small boiler - only an issue when drawing hot water for beverages - no issue at all when pulling shots, even multiple shots ; Steam & hot water wands only rotate in the 3 to 9 'o clock positions, left and right that is. Not always at the...

SEXY tasty hot Italian with a bad name. I suggest Stella.

I've sent it once for service and have replaced a solenoid valve and now a vacuum breaker. I just pulled the heater and liquid level probe to check for scale and they are perfect even though water here is very hard. (I start with softened water then...

Great unit. Very easy to use and maintain, and it throws a great shot. Pretty too

Look like it has gotten spendy

At its price point, has the edge over the MiniNova in size and aesthetics; edges out the Livia in temperature stability.

I've been having a blast with my Tea for about two months now, and I can find no reason to upgrade anytime in the foreseeable future. First impression-wise, I was immediately struck by the amazing aesthetic design of the unit. With the exception of...

Craftsmanship/Build Quality ; Enormous drip tray ; Dual pressure gauges

Smallish reservoir ; No externally visible water level ; Entire unit (sans drip tray) gets extremely HOT

The TEA makes you want more of everything.

This review may appear negative but let me first say that I like my Isomac TEA, it's a great machine. I just want it to be better!!

Generally, good creama is not hard to obtain with a bit of practice. Steaming capabilities are good

Water temps. too hot. Pressurostat is a bit unstable and finicky. Stainless steel casing great eye appeal but scratches easily. No water level indicator. AC terminal in machine shorted/melted

Quality on the inside and outside, a true joy to use and have at home.

My experience with the Tea II has been nothing but positive so far. Even though I have had to/chosen to custimize a few things. I lowered the water pressure/temperature by 0.2 bars (from facory set 1.5 to 1.3). I also went deep into the interior of the...

E61 full group ; Two pressure gauges ; 1.5 litre boiler, HX (3 litre water tank) ; Large spill water tray ; Large cup warmer ; Brewing handle/lever ; Robust and sturdy, good looking machine

Much refilling of water needed (should be plummed in) ; Temperature a little hot in fabric setting (1.5 bar)
