This is a 2K Monitor. 2K resolution is a generic term for display devices or content having HORIZONTAL resolution of approximately 2,000 pixels. Acer and New Egg have not lied about the resolution of this monitor

- It is in fact a 2K Monitor

- Some people don't know what 2K Means

I do not own one, BUT a fault is in their description

 

So like the title says, I do not own one, but I'd like to point out something I noticed in the description which is a HUGE problem for people searching for a monitor of higher standards. 2560 x 1080 is NOT 2k!! It is simply an ultra wide 1080 monitor....

Great monitor - now supports AMD FreeSync

 

I previously rated this 4 eggs for not supporting AMD FreeSync settings. Since the latest Radeon update changed this, I'm changing my review to 5 eggs!

To comment on the user saying this monitor does not support free sync. Adaptive sync is free sync. Yes it does support frees sync. http://support.amd.com/en-us/search/faq/215

Excellent Monitor!

 

Just picked this up. Bought Far Cry Primal the day the monitor was delivered. Wow...flawless game play. Beautiful colors, and insane 144 refresh rate. Love it.

None so far.

This is monitor is perfect except for lack of information

 

I bought this on Provantage for $915 (including shipping). You can see pictures of my monitor on a VESA ARM on Overclock.net at the display/monitor section and also on Ama zon for verification.

HDMI 2.0 (HDCP2.2) which makes this better than the BenQXR3501 or even its sibling, Z35 Predator. It also has "Daisy-Chain" for Displayport with Displayport Out/In. Definitely like the fact that it's VESA compliant unlike the BenQXR3501 which you have...

Lack of information. For example, I been having this monitor for 3 weeks now, I am still trying to figure out what is the Freesync's range on this monitor; there is no information on it. I am posted this said question on Acer's official website/forum....
