Terrible rice coker

" Purchased brand new. Very disappointed with quality of cooked rice. Bottom of pot is burnt and very hard to clean since rice is very stuck on the bottom. Top half of pot, the rice turned out fine, but bottom half of pot the rice is really mushy....
